Afterwards, you can explore on your own, we recommend visiting the Monastery or High Place of Sacrifice. For lunch, you can choose between a local restaurant, or the Crowne Plaza buffet.</p> <p>After the visit, transfer to your hotel in Petra.</p> <p>In the evening, meet the horse-riding expert for a short briefing about the next day’s adventure. Stop for a break and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch in the middle of the vast desert, silence, serenity, and endless views.</p> <p>In the afternoon, continue your journey past ancient Nabataean inscriptions and Lawrence’s Spring, where history and legend meet. Visit the beautiful St. George Church, home to the 6th-century Mosaic Map of Jerusalem, and continue to Mount Nebo, where Prophet Moses is said to have viewed the Promised Land.
