10 Days, 9 Nights Horse Adventure

Our airport representative will be waiting for you with a name sign and will organize and pay the visa fee for you. The airport rep will walk with you through customs and to the luggage hall and will bring you to the driver at the arrival hall. (Flight number and time) The driver will be waiting in the arrival hall with a name sign Transfer to your Hotel in Madaba, overnight in the hotel including bed and breakfast. There are many nice restaurants where the clients can have their dinner. The hotel is located close to the shopping street and nice restaurants.

After the breakfast check out with your luggage and transfer to Petra (3 hrs. drive) Our contact person will be waiting for you at the visitor center of Petra, he will prepare your Petra entrance ticket and he will gather you with your professional tour guide (English, French, Spanish or other languages) to continue your visit with him, Your guide is the expert about the site so he will escort you along 5 km to explore the highlights of Petra starting from the visitor Centre for 2.5 hours to explore few carved facades for 1 km before reaching the 1.2km long Siq (The natural ancient main entrance leads to Petra which is considered as fascinated as The Treasury), many sculptures laying on both sides, religious niches and water channels, the end of the Siq is the breath-taking sight of the Treasury. To continue Walking to the Street of Facades, passing the Nabateans Theatre to reach the Royal Tombs, See the colonnaded street, Temple of the Winged Lions and The Great Temple, to continue exploring by yourself some other monuments, don't miss the hike to the monastery or the high place of sacrifice. For lunch in the archaeological site of Petra there are 2 restaurants, a local one for 10 JOD per person and the Crown Plaza buffet for 17 JOD per person. There are also a lot of shops where you can buy water, drinks, snacks and souvenirs. Enjoy your day in Petra. Returning to our contact person at the visitor center to take you to the hotel in the tourist street. During the night there will be a short meeting with the horse expert to give an idea about the program and discuss some information regarding the horse riding. Optional: You can participate in Petra Kitchen, cooking with local people led by a chef from 18.30 until 21.00 or a little later. 3 course meal/ menu to prepare with other guests and then to eat. Water tea, coffee and soft drinks are included (Alcohol is available but you need to pay extra for this) Other options are: *Visit a local Turkish bath for the use of the steam room, body scrub and soap *Petra by night, only on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 20.00 pm-22.00 pm.

This morning after breakfast be ready in your horse-riding gear. If you do not have a helmet, we can provide one at our stables. Take your Camera, sun cream and sunglass with you. Our saddle blankets have pockets to take this along the ride. A driver will come to take you to the stable. We will select a good horse. Today we will start the horse-riding journey which lasts for 6 days from Petra to Wadi Rum with horse expert along the horse-riding days; to head south this day through the mountains of southern side of Petra and the beautiful valleys for 3 hours till Rajef village; It is riding in mountain area as well and in this area live a lot of local Bedouins, maybe they even invite you for a cup of Bedouin tea! To have a stop to rest under the shade of fig trees; you will enjoy having lunch made by the chef at the mobile kitchen; You will have stunning views over Petra and Wadi Araba! then to continue with your horse for more 3 hours afternoon to the camp location based in Bir-Hamad area; where you can enjoy the view to sunset and spending the night at the mobile camp, after having delicious outdoor dinner. Today is fresh morning between the aroma of the local herbs. After having a good breakfast, with the horse guide at 9:00 am you will ride into the bare mountains to head more south to a small village named Al-Humayma; named Auara (Arabic: huwara, white); by the Byzantine writer Uranios, today it is al-Humayma, lying in Wadi Hisma in southern Jordan; was founded by the Nabatean King Obodas’ son, Aretas III at a time when the Nabataeans were defining their territory, and a more settled population was desirable, here the chef will be waiting for you as he prepared a local dish with nutrient value, you will rest and enjoy the lunch before riding again afternoon to head to the mobile camp located in the desert of Wadi Rum, to enjoy the night below the sky at the charming desert with authentic Bedouin dinner. Today and the following days you will ride to explore the desert of Wadi Rum with its stunning landscape; Nicknamed the Mars on earth or The Moon Valley. Wadi Rum is famous for its landscapes, sand dunes, it’s the desert where the stars war and the Martian movie were filmed. After breakfast at 09.00 am. With the horse expert; The horses will be ready and you will ride to see beautiful naturally formed rock bridges along the journey and possibly to climb them as well the mushroom rock early morning before having a break on the way to rest and to have lunch in unparalleled atmosphere amid the vast sand dunes, to continue riding afternoon to pass close to the ancient inscriptions which indicate that the area played an important role along the trading routes, and to explore Lawrance’s spring, to reach our mobile camp to have dinner and to enjoy spending the night in one of most beautiful deserts in the world. The early morning in the desert is a special sensation, the silence, the sand and the tall giant mountains are all unique atmosphere. As usual at 9:00 am and after breakfast you will say good morning to your group and as well to your horse who is gonna be waiting for you, you will ride aside with your horse guide to continue exploring the desert to see the siq (narrow natural gorge 5 km long with stunning natural formations), and you will continue riding through the desert for not less than 3 hours to have a break on the way to leave your horse to rest and to have lunch before you continue for 3 hours more afternoon to pass next to the French fortress and to see nature from a different side until the mobile camp location where you can enjoy the sunset view, to have dinner and to enjoy the night nearby the fire with Bedouin hot tea. After breakfast, with your guide you will ride to the location of one of highest peaks in Jordan; umm Ishrin Mountain, with its glory standing in the desert like leader laying along the highest series of mountains named Al-Sharah Mountains; to have lunch in Umm Ishrin and to continue afternoon towards Al-Burrah to see the famous natural bridge Umm Faruth and to head to your camp for dinner and overnight. At 9:00, after breakfast you will have a short riding to continue exploring the desert before heading to Aqaba, you will ride your horse and with your horse expert, you will head to another small village in the desert named Al-Desi to have lunch and to prepare yourself to say goodbye to the desert afternoon. The driver will be waiting for you to drive you for 1 hour through the rich minerals’ mountains to Aqaba where the only gulf in Jordan, to make check-in at the hotel and to enjoy spending the rest of the day swimming and relaxing, or if you prefer to try diving, snorkeling or doing the water sports with sense of fun and enjoyment. After Breakfast and with your driver you will head to the lowest body of water in the world; The Dead Sea; 412 meters below the sea level, it has the highest level of salinity of any body of water in the world so the mud of the Dead Sea is known for its healing purposes. 3 hours drive from Aqaba, in the Dead Sea you will spend 4 hours floating in the water, relaxing nearby the pools till afternoon before heading to Madaba (30 minutes drive); The city of Mosaics which having one of elegant Byzantine mosaic floors discovered in the world; to make the check-in at the hotel and to start visiting the famous attractions in Madaba afternoon starting from visiting St. George Church to view the 6th century mosaic map of Jerusalem with two million pieces colored stones and the oldest map of the holy city. To continue to Mount Nebo the highest point of the series of Moab heights overlooking the Jordan valley, the Dead Sea and the Holy Land, known as the place where the prophet Moses glanced the Holy Land before his death.
