Day 1: Queen Alia Intl Airport - Amman

Our representative who’s going to be waiting for you in the Airport will help you with all of the procedures and deliver you to your driver, you will be transferred with your English-speaking driver for 1 hour to Amman (The capital and largest city of Jordan) To start visiting the old Souq during the night and maybe to taste one of delicious desserts in Jordan named Knafeh in the famous dessert shop Habiba, known by all Jordanians. To stay in Amman hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Amman – Citadel – The Baptism site - Amman

After having a nice rich breakfast, you will be setting out with your Guide and your driver for less than an hour to Amman citadel (The capital and largest city of Jordan named Rabbath Ammon and served as the capital of the Ammonite Kingdom 13th century BC; The Citadel has a long history of occupation by many great civilizations, The major remains at the site are the Temple of Hercules, a Byzantine church, and the Umayyad Palace, after spending a time in the citadel you will be transferred to Bethany; the village of John the Baptist; After Jesus' baptism at Bethany, he spent forty days in the wilderness east of the River of Jordan, where he fasted and resisted the temptations of Satan (Mark 1: 13, Matthew 4: 1-11), The Baptism Site was a major Pilgrim Station from the days of John the Baptist. Even after he died, many of his students stayed in the area which was the birthplace of Christianity. Churches were built near the site, monks lived in caves, and pilgrims visited the site. You will then head back to Amman. Overnight in Amman hotel.

Day 3: Jerash – Anjara the Biblical City – Umm Qais - Amman

After breakfast, with your guide you will head to north for 1 hour driving to Jerash, the "Pompeii of the East" which is perhaps, the best preserved of the provincial Roman towns. Around its colonnaded main street, see the Cardo, South Theatre, Temple of Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Artemis Temple and the Nymphaeum. The city's 14 churches date from Byzantine time and are filled with fine mosaics. Then you will proceed to Anjara; Only a few kilometers south of Ajloun; the word ‘Anjara ‘means "running spring"; the biblical city that features on most biblical tours of Jordan which has a great connection to Jesus and his mother as both passed through it and rested in a cave there during a journey between Jerusalem and Galilee, the cave in Anjara has long been a holy place for pilgrims, another famous place is the Lady of the Mount Church which consists of a large hall to receive pilgrims who come to honor the list size wooden statue of Virgin Mary holding baby Jesus placed within a newly built grotto. To leave Anjara and to move forward to Umm Qais the Greco-Roman town named Gadara which means "fortifications" or "the fortified city", it was one of the Decapolis cities which was a group of ten Hellenistic cities on the eastern frontier of the Roman Empire in the southern Levant in the first centuries BC, snugly located in a hillside of northern Jordan, and marvel at the sweeping view of Lake Tiberias and the Golan Heights from atop this Decapolis. To head back to Amman, overnight in Amman Hotel.

Day 4: Amman - Umm Al Rases – St. George Church - Mt. Nebo – Dead Sea

After having a good sleep and good breakfast you will start the journey with visiting Umm Al Rasas with your guide; The site which has been associated with the biblical settlement of Mephaat mentioned in the Book of Jeremiah, a Christian town and important place of pilgrimage developed in the 5th century. Many of the 16 churches found in the area have been decorated with mosaic floors, one of important places in the area is the mosaic floor of the Church of Saint Stephen with its representation of towns in the region, about 1 km to the north there is a 14-meter-high Stylite tower which is probably the last remaining building of this kind, on which strictly ascetic pillar-saints retreated. Umm Al-Rasas was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2004 Because of the outstanding universal value of the Roman, Byzantine and early Islamic testimonies from the late 3rd to 9th centuries. 30 Km North west of Umm Al Rasas is Madaba Town; nicknamed the City of Mosaics having one of elegant Byzantine mosaic floors discovered in the world, where you can start with visiting St. George Church to view the 6th century mosaic map of Jerusalem with two million pieces colored stones and the oldest map of the holy city. To continue to Mount Nebo the highest point of the series of Moab heights overlooking the Jordan valley, the Dead Sea and the Holy Land, known as the place where the prophet Moses glanced the Holy Land before his death. To continue driving to the lowest body of water in the world, the Dead Sea 412 meters below the sea level, to float on water, to relax to have dinner and to spend the night there. Overnight in Dead Sea Hotel.

Day 5: Dead Sea - Mukawir - Karak Castle - Petra

Today it’s another beautiful day after breakfast and from the Dead Sea you will start the journey as usual with your guide to head to the eastern side of the Dead Sea; to Mukawir where Machaerus a hilltop palace and desert fortress was originally built by the Hasmonean king, Alexander Jannaeus (104 BC-78 BC) serving an important strategic position., the location known as the place where John the Baptist was beheaded according to the chronology of the Bible (Mark 6:24; Matthew 14:8) the 1st century AD. Herod Antipas, the son of Herod, imprisoned and beheaded John the Baptist after Salome’s fateful dance. To continue driving after to Al-Karak which known for its crusaders castle and has one of the three largest castles in the region then to head south to Petra the rock-cut city. Overnight in Petra Hotel.

Day 6: Petra Visit - Petra

After breakfast, we will be energized and ready to go again! In the visitor center, we will prepare your Petra entrance ticket and we will gather you with your professional English tour guide to continue your visit with him, Your guide is the expert about the site so he will escort you along 5 km to explore the highlights of Petra starting from the visitor Centre for 2.5 hours to explore few carved facades for 1 km before reaching the 1.2km long Siq (The natural ancient main entrance leads to Petra which is considered as fascinated as The Treasury), many sculptures laying on both sides, religious niches and water channels, the end of the Siq is the breath-taking sight of the Treasury. To continue Walking to the Street of Facades, passing the Nabateans Theatre to reach the Royal Tombs, See the colonnaded street, Temple of the Winged Lions and The Great Temple, to continue exploring by yourself some other monuments like climbing the one thousand steps to the monastery or/with the high place of sacrifice, to spend the whole day exploring before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Petra Hotel.

Day 7: Little Petra – Wadi Rum

In the morning you will begin with exploring the hidden area of the rock-cut city based in little Petra for 2 hours, known as the agricultural area where fields, olive presses and the wonderful Siq Albared (The cold Siq) where the most beautiful painted on fresco piece found in the area, multiple carved reservoirs and many banquet halls indicating that the area been a place of festivals and the big gathering, Leaving Petra heading to Wadi Rum for 2 hours driving, Nicknamed the Mars on earth because of its comparable landscape to Mars, Wadi Rum is famous for its landscapes, sand dunes, it’s the desert where the stars war and the Martian movie were filmed. Your tour in Wadi Rum will start after check-in to camp with riding the 4*4 jeep that’s going to take you for 3-4 hours tour to explore the desert with its rich places to visit: The Nabateans Temple, Lawrence Spring, Sand Dunes, Khazali Canyon, Lawrence House, climbing rock bridges like the famous Um Fruth Rock Bridge and Burdah rock bridge arch, to watch the sunset from your stay camp and enjoying the atmosphere during the night below the sky with authentic Bedouin dinner. Day 8: Wadi Rum – Queen Alia Intl Airport

After spending one of lifetime night in Wadi Rum, and according to your flight time, your kind driver will drive you safely for 3.5 hours to The Airport in Amman.
